Butterfly Connect occurs when adjacent butterflies of the same species align horizontally or vertically, whether along the board’s edges or within its interior. These matches are visually intuitive, making them ideal for early-game strategies to dismantle clustered tiles near the center. Some players, however, intentionally delay resolving these obvious pairs to exploit them later during critical moments—such as replenishing the timer—by swiftly activating pre-positioned matches under pressure.
